Quartier PARK SLOPE, quartier de Brooklyn que je veux ! Je m’y vois déjà, et n’y a pas que moi qui adore cet endroit, grâce à Jen Ny (http://beyondthebridge.fr/new-york-i-love-you/) et The Lazy Frenchie (https://www.facebook.com/thelazyfrenchie/?pnref=story), j’en découvre les moindre recoin avec vos blogs et photos !
Ma première piste a été la page Facebook : “Les frenchy à NY” (https://www.facebook.com/groups/frenchyany/) une communauté géniale, avec une mine d’information ! Tout le monde vous aide, et ça c’est le top !
Grâce aussi à Yuko american dream en famille (http://americandreamenfamille.com/blog/) et son webinaire, que j’ai gardé en mémoire.
Je suis parée :
1er site : REALTOR http://www.realtor.com – Propose une appli sur App store – Site sympa mais logement non meublé, donc next ! En revanche je le garde sous le coude pour plus tard, le site est vraiment bien fait.
2ème site : SUBLET https://newyorkcity.sublet.com/- le site n’est pas terrible, je le trouve mal fait, mais il y a 2, 3 pistes aussi pas trop cher, et dans le secteur PARK SLOPE et CAROLL GARDENS (quartier ultra français). En revanche 3 mois minimum pour la plupart des locations.
3ème site : STREET EASY streeteasy.com– Ce site est génial, claire, et bien fait, rapide et facile, mais … mais les logements sont non meublés, zuuuuuuuuuuuuut !!!!
4 ème site : URBAN LIVING www.urbanliving.net/fr/ – Super site mais plus cher. En revanche les annonces sont de qualités et vérifiés ! La recherche est simple et rapide.
5ème site : AIR BNB www.airbnb.fr/ – IMPOSSIBLE de passer à côté ! Pour ma recherche atypique, c’est le site le plus simple, en plus il y a une réduction pour la longue durée.
Et là coup de cœur à deux blocs du Park Slope, l’appartement de Hollis et de Melissa, avec des avis supers, j’ai moi même posé des question aux filles, elles ont été supers, gentilles, et patiente.
Grâce au réduction AIRBNB pour mes 3 mois ça me fait 5500€ : IMBATTABLE.
Cerise sur le gâteau, mes invités n’auront rien à payer pour venir me voire !
C’est décidé je prendrais l’un de ces deux logements, je vais pouvoir regarder les écoles (choisir le PS proche de l’habitation), trop hâââââte !!
Maintenant que c’est fait, il ne me reste plus que le soucis congé à valider !
Mardi 15 février je relance mon grand grand chef pour la pose des congés, il n’y a pas eu d’accord pour le moment malgré mon email du 25 janvier ! J’ai relancé le 08 février par mail. C’est ici que l’on voit la lenteur des procédures françaises !

5th site: AIR BNB http://www.airbnb.fr/ – IMPOSSIBLE to miss out! For my atypical research, it is the simplest site, in addition there is a reduction for the long duration. And there’s a heart-stopping at two blocks from the Park Slope, Hollis and Melissa’s apartment, with great opinions, I even asked the girls, they were great, kind, and patient.
Thanks to the reduction AIRBNB for my 3 months it makes me 5500 €: UNBEATABLE.
The icing on the cake, my guests will not have to pay to come see me!
It is decided I would take one of these two lodgings, I will be able to look at the schools (choose the PS close to the dwelling), too hasty !!
Now that it’s done, I only have the worry leave to validate! Tuesday 15th February I relaunch my great grand chief for the laying of holidays, there has not been agreement for the moment despite my email of 25 January! I relaunched on February 08 by email.
